The work that Kramden Institute does is a major benefit to not just the Triangle, but the entire state. They refurbish computers and put them into the hands of deserving youth who do not have computer access in their homes. In the 21st century to not have internet or a computer in the home can really set a child back on the road to higher education. They empower youth also as volunteers and inspire them not only to serve, but to gain valuable technology experience. Kudos to Kramden!

Kramden is the greatest place to volunteer. Everyone can gain a wonderful sense of accomplishment. Instructions for every task are available and volunteers can proceed at their own pace. People are super friendly and helpful. Most amazing is the Kramden process for computer refurbishing - where each succeeding step builds on the previous one. A week without Kramden is just not complete! This is the most fun!

Kramden is an excellent non-profit to get involved in, whether you are an individual or a corporate. The employees are professional and helpful and the policies and procedures they have in place are efficient and effective. I am happy to volunteer here on a regular basis and highly recommend to anyone looking to get involved in a techy philanthropy organization.

Kramden does wonderful work by proving free computers to students and whole schools or school systems. Give them an old computer and they will rebuild it into a new functioning machine. Volunteers from age 12 to adults come in to help with the work.

I have donated laptops to Kramden and I feel they get them in the right hands. Worth going out of your way to donate your electronics.
