bought a brand NEW altima SL. And from the first month had problems with it. I bought th e car because i needed a reliable car and this was my first brand new car ever. Once i got the car the windshield get a broken from a rock the first week. and i bought the extra windshield crap that was supposed to PREVENT that exact thing from happening...well it didnt. so DONT buy that it doesnt work. they had to replace the entire windshield. then the recalls started coming in. then rust started forming on the front of the car...and they told me AFTER i came in that they needed to replace the back hood because it would happen there as well because Nissan didnt protect the back hood. And no one told me when i was in there the other times, and they knew about it but never told me...so when was i going to find that out?!?! all in all i was in the dealership 10+ times in 18 months. On average every other month i was in there for something wrong with the car or a recall. After complaining about it the last time because i had to pay a $100 to get something that was not working the first 3 months i had enough. I would not go back to this dealership because once you buy...you are screwed. They told me to call nissan directly...i bought it from them and now i want to get out of the car and it will cost me more money to trade it in. Never again will i buy from this company.

The whole team at Coon Rapids Nissan was so helpful, kind and respectful of their time and mine. They all work together which makes the process so much easier. I had no idea what I wanted when I walked into their lobby around 1pm and within 3 hours, I was on my way home to make dinner by 4pm! They were jammed packed that weekend as well. Terry S. was my salesman and all I can say is: 5-star salesman. Any employer would be so lucky to have him as part of the team. He also has all sorts of interesting facts and life stories to tell you while you wait, which is so helpful getting through the buying/leasing process. Smiles from all staff from receptionist, servicemen/woman asking how I am doing when I was near service area to the big man on campus running the joint popping his head in and out to make sure things are running smooth. I will have no issue heading back their when my lease is up. You guys are fabulous and I would recommend to a complete stranger to service, buy, sell or lease with Coon Rapids Nissan. Thank you so much for changing my life with my brand new Nissan Altima!

My wife and I moved to US 3 weeks back and was not sure on the process of getting a car, reached Coon Rapids Nissan over the phone and spoke to Josh he fixed an appointment for us with Nissan team and gave me the contact of Carl to work with. Carl is an amazing sales person with a personal touch, he worked with us to understand our needs, our problems(Foreign Nationals-India), our budget, after listening to us he gave his suggestions and explained the complete process in such a way that we never felt any doubt in picking up the car what we need. Initially when we walked in we expected the process to take at least a week, Nick from Finance and Carl from Sales made it so easy for us and explained it in layman terms that even kids can understand. This is our First car with awesome sales experience all THANKS AND KUDOS TO CARL for making it so simple and yet faster. Nissan now we know why you guys rock, as you have employees like Carl. Kudos and we appreciate every minute you spent to make it memorable.

I have been researching what type of car, where to buy, etc. for 2 - 3 weeks.... drove through multiple dealerships without stopping to test drive. I made an appointment to test drive a Rogue and yep you guessed right... I drove off the lot with a Nissan! I have always wanted a Rogue but what really made me decide to purchase was the great customer experience I received from Terry Small and the Nissan team at Coon Rapids Nissan. When purchasing a new car, I always have the worst anxiety and fear that I am being taken advantage of…. NOT THIS TIME! You can tell this dealership truly cares about their customers to find the right vehicle and financing options. First I would like to say it was difficult for me to buy a vehicle do to a case of anxiety when spending money in large amounts. Joel Snyder and the rest of the team at Coon Rapids Nissan made me comfortable and met my needs. I had many questions about the Nissan Titan, all in which were answered by Joel and other salesmen. They are all very knowledgeable and professional at Coon Rapids Nissan. Special thanks to Joel for finding the vehicle that I was looking for, walking me through the steps and getting me in my great Nissan Titan. I live in North Dakota, over 600 miles from Coon Rapids Nissan and I tell you this. We purchased our 2015 Altima about a week ago, we enjoy the car as much as we enjoyed our car buying experience. We were upside down in our old car due to the amount of miles we drive. While discussing this with our salesman, Josh Hartigan, he reassured us that this is a situation many car owners get into. There were no "pressure sales" tactics used, the amount offered for our trade in was very fair. Upon delivery of the new car, even though it was already after closing time, Josh reassured us that he could stay as long as needed to teach us any thing we wanted to know about the new car. He even called a few days later to see if we had any questions about the car and if there was anything else he could do for us. Great service, before and after the sale! This was the 3rd vehicle transaction we have had with Coon Rapids Nissan over the past 5 years. Every time we are happy with our choice to bring our business there.

Friendly, welcoming environment from the moment we arrived on site. I’ve been looking off and on for a new vehicle for the past year and have been at this dealership before, test driving different models. Each and every time my encounters with all staff have been respectful, enthusiastic and eager to help. Last Saturday I was again shopping and met up with Chris Beckrich in Sales. Chris first listened to what I was looking for in a new vehicle and then proceeded to offer information, not what I’ve been use to in the past when shopping , he provided excellent customer service. This led to the purchase of a new Titan Truck. Seriously, I want to thank the entire Team at Coon Rapids Nissan and special thanks to all the staff that helped prep my new vehicle for delivery. 2010 Nissan Murano - 11-30-2010 Sales Rep Steve B. at Coon Rapids Nissan was Excellent!!! He was very well versed in the Murano. He bent over backwards to make sure that we understood all parts of the vehicle before we drove off the lot. We wish we had more money to afford the SL version, but maybe next time. I was totally sold on the CVT transmission. We were looking at the Rav4, CRV, FJ, and Santa Fe. Nissan won hands down. We were coming in after dinner. The sun had set so they had the vehicle waiting for us inside their garage so that we could see it under bright lights. Our Salesrep Steve was most knowledgeable and ever so thoughtful during the sales process. I would not hesitate to do business there again. I would highly recommend this dealership. We received excellent trade-in values for both of our cars. Thanks again!!!!

After going to a few other dealerships in the area and looking around, I figured I would see what kind of deals Nissan was offering. My salesperson, Tyler, was able to pull a car from inventory within minutes of giving him a few ideas of what I was looking for and what price range I was looking in. The test drive was great and the car had everything that I wanted. After Tyler explained their warranties and extra features I was very comfortable moving forward with looking into the financing deal they were offering. I meet with Adam on my financing options, he was very helpful and was very honest. The whole process only took a few hours and I never felt pressured to buy and am loving my new Altima. I would not only recommend buying a Nissan, I would also recommend buying specifically from the Coon Rapids Dealership and working with Tyler!

I went to Coon Rapids Nissan on Sat. Oct 8 to look at a vehicle I had researched on line. While doing this research I dealt with Adam Johnson who was very helpful and informative. When i arrived on Saturday Adam was busy with another customer and set me up with Josh Martin who did a great job in showing me the vehicle and taking me for a test drive. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed no pressure sales pitches or anything like that. In the process the computer system went down and increased the wait time , but Josh kept the conversation going and showed me around the dealership and options that were available for my vehicle, the system was back up in about 15-20 minutes and I walked out about 10 min. later with a new vehicle and the best car buying experience I have ever had . Our sales representative, Craig Wellman, at Coon Rapids Nissan was very truthful and knowledgeable about the used car we bought from this dealership. He impressed us with his insight of the vehicle and of similar vehicles that are in the same class, he was able to explain the selling points of each one. I never expected to get this kind of service when buying a used car! The car we purchased was immaculately detailed at Coon Rapids Nissan and had the look and essence of a new vehicle. Craig had negotiated such a great price on our trade-in with his manager that we were able to finalize our purchase that same night without any of the typical sales tactics that I have become accustomed to over the years at other dealerships in the area. Between my husband and I, we have been to many car dealerships in the last two years for various reasons. After the first time we met Jacob Nicholson, we knew that the Coon Rapids Nissan is different than any other dealership out there. At other dealerships, we got the feeling that the salesperson was desperate to sell us anything, but Jacob showed that he cared about finding a vehicle that met our specific needs and wants. Jacob was very knowledgeable and straightforward from beginning to end. Throughout the purchase process, it was very obvious that the entire team at Nissan have respect for each other and work together well. We are so thankful that we chose Coon Rapids Nissan. The over pressuring sales staff attempted to sell us 1 vehicle even after we told them it was out of our price range. There we other cars in our price range on the lot, yet they persisted. They also informed us that the vehicle model we were looking for was not available in a 2009. This response turned out to be fabricated(again in an attempt to sell use the 2010 we could not afford). The facts are that the Nissan Murano was made in 2009 and the Nissan Qwest was not. An online search and other dealerships provided this information. We were told we would be contacted with other options the next day and did not receive a response until the next. On a more positive note we were given good test drives of a couple vehicles. We had a much more pleasant visit to other Nissan dealerships.

Our experience at Coon Rapids Nissan was excellent! Carl was a pleasure to work with and he made sure we knew about all of the options available to us. He quickly became a trustworthy sales person who was concerned about finding a vehicle that matched our needs without pressure to purchase something that was outside of those needs. Additionally, he spent the extra time to help us program all of the settings in our new vehicle to ensure we were programed and all set as we drove off the lot feeling extremely satisfied. Jake in finance did an excellent job as well to ensure that we were locked into the best financing options possible.
