I just went and donated a bunch of stuff and the workers made eye contact with me several times. Helped everyone else till I was the last person left. Even a lady said "i think she wants to donate some stuff." And they still ignored me. Then when they were done with everyone else someone was finally like " wanna donate stuff?" Well yeah. Thats why im standing here with this heavy bag. And he was just like "bring it in here. Set it down wherever." Didnt even offer to take it for me like he did everyone else. I know I look different than a lot of people but I still have a good heart to donate my stuff instead of sell it . I was polite and still said thank you. And no one even asked if I wanted a reciept. Staff was very rude to me. I know judgemental eyes when I see them.

Thr Most generous charity I have ever encountered, i walked in on a whim and left with so much for free... i was given a large box of food , toiletries, 4 rolls of toilet paper , 6 articles of hand picked clothing for myself and 6 for my daughter I chose from their thrift store , pull ups ,a few toys and i will get a very nice layette once my child is born for free. We also were given tickets to get free coats at coats for the cold .. the people were so nice.

I have usually engaged this place for my work as a case manager. They provide assistance with food and clothing. You can usually get about a 3 day supply of food about every 2 months and they have clothing vouchers as well. The staff/volunteers are friendly and will try to help you as much as possible. They also have a thrift store side in which the money helps support the other activities of different programs.

They offer help to people who need food, clothing,help getting prescription meds, vouchers for other services to get household furniture, and baby items ( formula and diapers) when n stock. Very good place to get help...Thank You LOC and staff for all that you do, God Bless.
