We recently purchased a new 2015 CRV from Motorcars Honda, and were very pleased with the outstanding service provided by the salesperson Michael Lesko. We called Motorcars because we have been their customer ever since we moved to Cleveland several years ago and purchased our first Honda (a CRV) there. Ever since, we have also had both our cars serviced by Motorcars and it has been mostly a positive experience. For the recent purchase, Michael answered our first phone call, gave an appointment that fitted our schedule and took the time to explain all our options. We found him very friendly and patient, never rushing us into any decisions. Since we were in a hurry, we couldn’t test drive at the first appointment, but we returned later for a test drive and Michael’s help was again impressive. When we finally made the decision to purchase, Michael arranged for a quote to be emailed to us, and based on our own research it seemed reasonable and we finally made another appointment at which time we purchased the vehicle. It was a long day, but Michael wanted to make sure we understood every feature of the new vehicle and patiently went over everything, including the camera and even the various menu options of the entertainment system! He wanted to make sure we got the best out of our new vehicle. If anything, it was us that rushed him rather than the other way around! We enjoyed the buying experience, primarily because of Michael who deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, we can’t give the same rating to their finance department. They clearly saddled us with an inflated interest rate for the loan, at least a full percentage point higher than what I would have got on my own (which is what I should have done, in hindsight), but it was a long day and we just wanted to finalize the purchase and drive out. The difference in total interest paid would be around $500 or so, so it is not a very significant sum but we feel there should have been a fuller verbal disclosure about why the quoted rate was high (maybe it is the commission they get from the lender, I am not sure) . In any case we will not be going to them for financing a future vehicle purchase.

NOAH DANIEL and Honda Motorcars are the best option for new/used car!!! Let me start by stating that if I had to choose between a root canal without Novocain and buying a new car, I would have to seriously think about it. Seriously. I am an avid researcher ( hazard of being an Attorney) and literally spent months evaluating ALL of my options. I visited every make of car dealership in the area and then when I narrowed my choice to a Honda CRV, visited many dealerships. Without question, Honda Motorcars was the exception to the painful process. Particularly the Sales Rep NOAH DANIEL. It was such a difference on all levels. We showed up literally 5 minutes before the dealership closed on a Saturday ( we were across street looking at a Toyota option) and figured we would just look at a car on the floor and come back the following week. Noah was so cool about everything and stayed late and took us on a test drive of TWO cars. The customer service is unparalleled. We were willing to come back, and let him know that it wasnt a problem based on when we showed up. He really went above and beyond by staying. We were treated very differently at other dealerships. The entire process was amazing. I looked at a few other Honda dealers after and was even more impressed with an apple to apple comparison. I knew I would only deal with Noah even if I had to pay a little more, however, I ended up getting the same deal and a better trade with Motorcars. They treat the trade as a separate transaction ( another great move on their part!). Noah handled everything else over the phone and literally drove the new car to my home and took my trade with him. Due to the experience I opted to also take advantage of their "Platinum AutoAwards" option. Which has already paid for itself. I will save myself a lot of time and aggravation the next time I buy a car. I will only deal with NOAH DANIEL and Motorcars.

I was looking for a trustworthy, reasonably-priced mechanic in the area and was very pleased with both the mechanics and customer service staff when I took my CRV in for a scheduled service. Since then, I have taken my Ford Mustang to them as well for minor maintenance tasks (do not expect full-service, specific diagnostic or advanced service for Fords or other brands not usually serviced here). Every time I have come, I have been blown away with how hospitable and professional every one of the staff has been. When I took my Mustang in for an oil change and winter tire changeover today, the manager served water or juice to anyone waiting in the lounge who wanted it. Free cookies and coffee were a nice touch to the already nice, spacious lounge with a large tv, computers, wifi, plenty of chairs/couches and space, aquarium, and an overall cozy feel. The service advisor I had, Josh Jenkins, was excellent. He kept me informed throughout the whole process and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and appreciated even when the process took a little longer than they anticipated with my Ford. I am very satisfied and will definitely come to them with all my CRV maintenance and any Mustang issues that they can service. *Update: I continue to be impressed with the service here. They make sure to order any parts necessary for maintenance on my mustang beforehand (since it may not be in stock already since it is not a Honda). Brandon answered all my service questions. On this last visit, Aaron Weintraub let me test drive the new 2017 Civic Sport, answering my questions along the way. He was genuine and down-to-earth. He gave honest answers and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely buy my new car this year from Honda...I just need to decide which model I want to buy :)

My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Honda Civic EX from Motorcars Honda in Cleveland Heights. I had spent a lot of time doing on-line comparisons of cars and prices and had decided to get a Honda. We compared e-prices with several other dealers and decided to buy at Motocars. Our decision was based on a number of factors. Chief among these is the fact that sales do not generate commissions for the salespeople. I think that changes the buying/selling environment dramatically; the tone was clearly friendly and informative . That certainly increased my trust in our salesperson Ken Rainey and in the deal they offered. There was no high pressure, which turns me off; no pressure to “buy up;” no pressure to make a decision. What a novelty – no pressure. Ken was wonderful during the entire process. We liked that we had an itemized offer sheet in hand (first time in over forty years of buying cars). Another factor was location – Motocars is within walking distance from our house. But had the final price of the car been out of line with other prices, we would have gone to another dealer. We had done that before. But they nearly matched the lowest of other offers. Once that happened we were sold on Motorcars. Each step of the process was easy and without pressure. My wife and I are happy both with the car, the car-buying process and Heights Motorcars Honda. We would buy another car there.

This was the first time I’ve ever purchased a car for myself, and Motorcars Honda went above and beyond to make this experience simple, straightforward, honest, thorough and fun! I primarily worked with Brian Zent and Debbie. I traded my Mazda RX-8 and used the money or a down payment on a 2014 Honda Accord. I feel that Honda provided me with a fair trade-in price for my car. Also, I mentioned to Brian the features important to me and the price ranges I wanted to stay within and he arranged a test drive that was easy and effortless with Debbie. Debbie was extremely knowledgeable about the features of the vehicles and was pleasant to have as a passenger. Being that this is the first car I am leasing and that I am new to Ohio, Debbie has been a great help in providing me with guidance necessary to obtain the documentation for my car plates. This was not expected of her, but she occasionally checks in on me to make sure I am enjoying my car and to see if there is anything else she can help me with. It has been about two months since I received my Honda and I am absolutely enjoying my car. The team was great to work with and they have earned my trust; I will highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Honda Motor Cars prices were great. The people in the building were great. Mr. Lesko was not even my sales rep and spoke with me with genuine interest for at least 20 minutes! However, my buying process was not as smooth. My wife and I agreed we were pressured to buy. For example these are some of the things we were told by our sales rep (Would rather not name him on the web) "The price would go up tomorrow." "You should put money down before you leave, I have to sell this to someone if they ask to drive it while you are gone." “Michael, this car will not be here long.” When we did leave, he made us assure him we would be back in an hour. He refused to tell us a possible interest rate on our loan. He would not give us a ballpark estimate until we signed a purchase agreement. I called our bank about this, and they agreed it was suspect. I have read other review about this person including that he gave them roses when they bought their car. Our Honda Odyssey was beautiful and clean, but was empty on fuel and I had to fill it up with gas on the way home. I am still perturbed by that, as it was not the case at dealerships I have worked with in the past.

Mr, Rich Klimkowski was beyond phenomenal. I cannot express how delighted I am with the quality of service, attention and authentic, honest sense of connection I experienced in my dealings with Motorcars Honda in general and Mr. Rich Klmkowski in particular. He went out of his way to ensure that I had the best possible experience and my needs were carefully attended too. He was a real, genuine human being and made the car buying experience completely memorable. I will never go anywhere else. He set the standard and the bar so high that I cannot imagine myself being happier buying a new car- Mr. Rich Klimkowski brings the very best of integrity, honesty, commitment, dedication, professional knowledge, competence and emotional intelligence to understanding me and communicating with me in the most inspiring way. I will be eternally indebted to him for his attentiveness and his willingness to go the extra proverbial five hundred miles. There was never a trace of manipulation or salesmanship- he gave me enough room to go through all the stages of doubt and indecision and helped navigate me to a good place from where I was able to make a decision.

I had a service appointment at Motorcars Honda and when I pulled into the service area I was greeted right away by a very nice young lady (porter) who told me what to do. I then went into the service department and within a matter a minutes I was at the desk going over the reason I was there and out the door with my rental for the day and on my way to work. I was impressed!! Later that day I received a call from a gentleman named Adam Henton to let me know my car was done. I then at that time spoke with him about a matter I was not unhappy about from the purchase of my CRV. Adam was very tentative and professional and told me he would see what he could do. Adam called me back just a short time later with a resolution I was very pleased with. I wanted to write this review only because I wanted acknowledgement for that young man because out of all the different service departments I have been to, he was absolutely the best, most kind, most considerate most professional service person I have ever dealt with. Thank You to Adam first and foremost and also to the rest of Motorcars Honda Service Dept for making my first experience a VERY GOOD one!!

Way over priced. We looked at new cars here and opted to buy at other dealer for a much lower price. We have gone here for service twice. Once for an oil change - look forever and was very expensive even with a coupon. We called to make an appointment and verified the price. On the phone they said $42 with coupon. When we paid they said $65 even with the coupon. They would not honor the lower price and blamed it on the 3rd party appointment booking service they use. They said they have this problem all the time, but still would not honor the price. I contacted the dealership after and never received a call or response. The second time we look it here was for a low tire pressure light. We had issues with the light coming on since we bought the van. There is no warranty on the tires when you buy a new van which is nuts! They charged us about $30. The staff was friendly and they have a huge waiting area with cookies, water, and coffee. I wish they cut back on the glitz (fish tank, wii, etc) and charged lower prices. The employees were nice, but constantly tried to sell and upsell.
