Buyer Beware. I purchased a 2 peice suit from here for a friend. When she tried it on we found the jacket size was different than the pant size. I called to ask if I could get a refund and was told by a very rude manger named Amy that I should had tried it on, so I explained that I did not buy it for myself so there was no reason to try it on. She said that its buyer beware here and there are no refunds. I said so if you wrote 2 peice on a tag then you should have checked to make sure it was actually a 2 peice set therefore the same size and if not then you could have sold them separate. She said sorry no refunds. This suit was in the designer section and I purchased for a friend who was going to job interviews and wanted to look professional. Mistakes happen even the lady who answered the phone initially could be heard in the background saying it was the stores fault but the manager was very rude. She is right buyer beware ... I was going back to purchase a $350 dresser but not anymore.

They deface all of their books by stamping the date on the textblock. I am a reseller who spends a lot of money to buy good quality used books and they totally ruin good quality merchandise that they could sell to make money for their organization. Instead all of those useless books sit there collecting dust. Use stickers instead. I wrote a letter to the organization to recommend that they change their process and never heard from them. Worthless . . .

In February CT opened its doors to the homeless and hosted a Homeless Giveaway Event to donate free, 13-gallon bags filled with women’s, men’s and children’s clothing including coats, hats, gloves and scarves. They ultimately gave away over 50 bags to those in need. This is a charity that is worth shopping at, donating to and volunteering your time for because all of the proceeds go back directly into OUR community!

I love this second-hand store! I shop and donate here. The majority of the workers are volunteers, and the proceeds support many organizations in the surrounding suburbs. I recommend visiting frequently, as the inventory is always changing. Today, I purchased a $140 blazer for $12.99. A perfect fit in the color I needed. Thrilled! :)

Community Threads is one of the best thrift stores I have been to, and I have been to a lot! They have quality merchandise, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they have designed it to feel more like a boutique than a thrift store with great displays! I highly recommend coming here!

I stopped by to see what this store had to offer, and it was totally worth the trip! Not only is this store the nicest thrift store I have ever been in, but they had racks of NEW CLOTHES with the price tags still on!!! I cannot say enough about how awesome this place is!

One of the cleaner and better run resale shops around. Nice staff and great all around selection of goods. I bought a mattress for a fraction of the regular prices of other mattress stores as well.

This place is awesome! Tons of stuff. Lots of furniture. And staff was helpful when I needed info. Wish there was one in my area as this on is up north, but will for sure visit again.

For items closed with tape you HAVE TO rely on the words of the staff AND if you must look inside the taped Item you MUST BUY the item.

Neat locally run resale store. Furniture is priced a bit higher than other thrift/resale stores, but clothing seemed well priced.
