Hello, I am someone who used to work at a plasma center in the "HOOD" if you will. Sorry, if no one told you but usually people who donate plasma do so because they have to not because they want to. I mean really why did you do it, to be a good samaritan....thats hardly the case EVER!! Getting back to being judmental, what exactly do these "GHETTO" people do to you to make you feel uncomfortable. Did they breath too hard or talk too loud? Also, what does someone with HIV/STD, prostitute, drug addict etc., etc look like?? When I worked at a plasma center people from all walks of life came in and they all donated and got there money, as I am sure you did. You may need to look at them as people and not as a criminal cause you yourself may look like a criminal yourself and not know it. I bet you if you had actually talked to any of those so called low lifes, you would have felt like a fool when you found out who they really were. Either way you guys suck!!

I like some of the staff are professional and then you have the other half that are so ghetto me and my husband go together now and the women that work here are so thristy for men it makes me sick to my stomach i just sit back and watch them i actually had a lady that screen my husband and she went from screening to coming in our bay giving me the evil eye and then my husband said when I got done first and left she bump into his feet tried to start a conversation but he ignored her and no more problems out of her but the men that donate here are so disrespectful and thristy for women it makes me sick to my stomach.....

I had a great experience here. As a first timer, I was treated with patience and respect. The staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was really great. Customer service was awesome and I was provided with great education on what i was doung and how my donation impacts the medical industry. Sure the lobby was full of sketchy people but so what. No one bothered me and in fact those so called sketchy people were the best at helping and making small talk when i was uncomfortable. I will.be returning!

Staff are very efficient. Always clean and the staff are very sterile when dealing with you and equipment. Most staff are really friendly. Some more talkative than others but never rude or disrespectful. Never seen sketchy people here. Just people trying to make extra money. Im a heathcare professional and I have no hesitations coming here.

We went to 3 different centers to donate One said we lived too far away, the second said they did not take blood from out of state. The third which is less than 60 miles said we live outside their donation district. We are three perfectly healthy drug free adults I cannot think of any reason to turn us down. call before you go

Come early or be prepared to wait forever seems like the morning shift is best afternoon shift is to iffy to me way to many young and inexperienced people and way to many cell phones being used if you know what i mean overall if you need a quick buck and dont mind being poke by a adult acting like a child by all means come

I hesitated to donate after reading all the negative reviews. I went for my first this this week. I was very pleased with my first experience there. The place was clean, the staff was kind and friendly, professional. I will donate again. I like the fact that I am getting paid as well as helping someone.

i can not believe how a place like this still exists. They must have a bus that runs straight from the homeless shelter to ZLB plasma center. If you want to wait for 8 hours around ghetto disease infested people for $30 go to 5500 Central Ave. Good luck if you make it out of there alive.

Pros friendly staff. I recommend if you are a hard stick to ask for Trina barely felt the needle.Cons the machines used to complete the questionnaire needs to be recalibrated. September the center is offering a bonus on the 8the stick.

I always have a good experience. Staff is ok.. And I usually check maps live to see what wait times look like for the hour before i go. Wish the check in kiosks were more tap sensitive that can be annoying at times.

Just be careful about letting the new Employees stick you with needles you will leave with a bruise or pain in your arm. Never go on Saturday or Sunday the lines are like a Zoo
