Toyota review. May 15, 2016 I am satisfied with the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid that I purchased at Handy Toyota. However, I am not satisfied with the dealership itself. The vehicle was misrepresented. I had looked at a RAV4 Hybrid at Heritage, and then comparison shopped at Handy. The salesperson told me that the one they had included exactly the same options as the one I had looked at Heritage. It in fact did not, and lacked several features the other one had and that I wanted. It is my fault for believing the salesperson and not checking for myself, but still I am very unhappy. After completing paperwork and then waiting some time for the Pre Delivery Service Check, they gave me the vehicle to drive home. As we were driving down the interstate, a warning came on saying that I should get the vehicle back to the dealer as soon as possible. I called on my cell phone and spoke to the salesperson who sold me the car. She said she would get back to me. She never called me back. This was Saturday. I brought the car back to the dealership on Monday and they discovered that the blind spot mirror sensors had never been installed. This despite the fact that the pre delivery service check showed them to be working fine!!! They tore the new vehicle apart to diagnose and install the missing sensors. I wanted to return the vehicle then, but the general sales manager, Adam Luneau, pacified me with a few perks. I did not at the time realize the options were missing. I had a medical emergency and had to go to the hospital during the night. When I was able to call Handy again later in the week I spoke to Kyle Ward and told him the story. He was not interested, to put it mildly, and told me he would get Adam Luneau to call me. When I asked when Adam would call me back, Kyle told me that Adam was very busy and he didn’t know when. It felt like a brush off and was. I don’t think he even told Adam to call me. In any case, he never did. The only problem with the vehicle is that the radio has been a never ending source of irritation. It constantly prompts you to install apps. I would never buy a car from this dealership again. I am nearing the age of 82 and have a serious hearing problem. So when my 15-year-old Ford Taurus, after giving almost 15 years of good service, had a nervous breakdown and started leaking antifreeze all over the garage and other places, I wasn’t looking forward happily to the difficulty of choosing a car to replace it. I wasn’t up to the difficulties (for me, anyway) of an electric or hybrid, and I wanted a smaller car than the Silver Bull. My excellent mechanic suggested a Corolla, saying it had “grown up.” I looked at the information about used Corallas from a number of places and decided to schedule a test drive and if the car was comfortable to lease one from Handy Toyota. From beginning to end, the process was smooth, the car I chose comfortable, the staff friendly and polite. I spent an afternoon talking and being talked to, and I certainly didn’t understand every word, but both Dylan Payea, Sales and Leasing Consultant, or what used to be called salesman, and Reg Howard, Customer Business Manager (and a former English teacher, as I am) made the serious effort to help me understand what was going on. The test drive convinced me that the 2014 Corolla would be a good choice. Dylan and Reg convinced me that Handy’s was a good choice, and I’m happy to recommend the dealership and these two to the world. Though it’s too early to predict, right now I’d say that if I survive the three-year-contract, I’ll buy the car.

We went there looking for a safer car for winter as we went in we Met Scott bedell he helped us out he was great person very nice amazeing with our kids very patient with us as we tryed decide on witch one to buy . The team worked amazeing to get us a great deal and car we will definitely recommend this place to anyone and will return next time . So now its july months after and im posting why i switched from a 5 rateing to a 1 even thought should be. A 0 if had one . i figuare ill give a up date when you buy a car as we did you get 3 oil changes for free from handy chevy were we bought the car well they send us to toyota to get worked on not only did they try to charge us for oil change they rotated my tires and messed the whole front end up some how and took the weights off the tires that were there and yet they think they did nothing wrong and gave me an nasty attitude yes im pissed we live hour away and had come back next day we will never be back and i will never send people here as i have in the past. Love the chevy deallers hate toyota service center

I have to say, this is the best customer service experience I have ever been a part of. Handy Toyota went above and beyond for us. They were open, honest, and willing to work with our needs. I honestly was amazed at everything they did for us. We traded two of our cars in for a Toyota Tundra and was amazed at the level of engagement and attentiveness they provided us. We fell in love with our truck and we were so impressed with their service, we contacted them less than 24 hours later to trade in our other car for a new RAV4 -Great deal -Great customer service -Great experience I know for a fact this is the only dealership we will be working with in the future. Thank you to Ali and Kyle Ward for you hard work and expertise in the customer experience. Patrick from service was incredibly nice and discussed what happens after we leave the lot, which was extremely helpful. He also set up our first appointment, discussed shuttle services when we may need a ride when our car is being fixed and provided us with two really great coffee mugs!

We purchased a used 09 Toyota Camry for our son in December 2016. Now our daughter was in a market for a used car also. Without hesitation, we re-visited Jean-Marie Bugwiza at Handy Toyota downtown. Jean-Marie remembered us immediately and knew what kind of car we would be looking for. Jean-Marie had the car ready for us to test drive, the car fax printed out and all up to date information on the cars we were interested in. After 2-3 weeks of looking around, we went right back to Handy, not just because of the vehicle (which is great) but the trust and honesty and hastle-free attitude from Jean-Marie and Handy Toyota. We purchased a 2010 Toyota Corolla and have been driving it for the last few weeks. Both the cars we purchased from them are just what they said they would be. My husband, Rob and I went to trade in our vehicles and Wade McDonald was our sales rep, Wade was very professional and told us he would he us with any and all questions we had. We took our 2017 Toyota Tacoma for a test ride Wade explained how to use each and every feature it had . Wade was very awesome . We give him an A+++++, after when the paper work needed to be signed Jaime Longway brought us in and went in detail about what papers we were signing , Jaime was very professional as well, told us about our other vehicles gap insurance on our other trade in , not a lot of sales reps would take the time out and tell you that money could be refunded on the last loan for the gap insurance.. Overall Handy Toyota has the most professional , down to earth, courteous, caring, and very polite. Its not every day you see that a some car dealers. I would recommend anyone to buy/lease at Handys.......

I purchased a used Avalon. Shopped from Florida to Vermont and found the best prices at Handy Toyota in St. Albans. They were tough, but fair negotiators. Once the price was agreed upon their sales team could not have been better. They took the time to answer all my questions and to explain the available warranties in detail. Gave me a tour of the dealership and introduced me to the service team. The salesman and sales manager were quick to answer my phone calls and emails. The car was ready for pickup at time I requested and it was extremely clean. All in all it was a very pleasant low pressure experience. I have had my other Toyota vehicles serviced at this dealership and the experience and workmanship have always been outstanding. I will definitely continue to use this dealership to service my Toyota vehicles and to purchase Toyota vehicles.

My husband and I came on December 23rd to look for a replacement of my Honda CRV 2008 to a newer car and found what I wanted. David Burns worked with us and I was very pleased of his patience and professionalism. It was a very busy day before Christmas and David worked with another couple, who came earlier. David was very polite and managed to serve us both. I took two different models for a drive test and have chosen Toyota Venza 2015. This car provides such a comfort, which I never experienced before. The car was ready for me next day, and again - patience of business manager pleased me. David continued work with me, showing how the Handy Toyota Service Center operates. I had very nice experience and recommend the Handy Toyota Service Center as the best in the area.
