September 12, 2015 Dear Port Orchard Ford Sales & Parts Teams, I am a busy professional woman whose work region covers a large geographical area. I drove by and saw a car parked on the Port Orchard Ford car lot. A newer car has been in the very remote corners of my mind because of a growing 2.5 year old grandson, expanding work projects, & transport of equipment . I drove into the Port Orchard Ford car lot in a 2001 VW Beetle that served me well for years in economy, maintenance, but now was limited in size. I had no idea what cars were selling for these days, since car purchases are upon necessity. I looked at sticker prices, year, model, makes, colors & found interest in cars. In short time, as expected, I met up with a Car Sales Consultant, Michael Paulos who asked me, of course, “Did I need some help?” I asked Michael to tell me what he knew about the couple of cars of interest. I hadn’t intended to purchase a car so adjusting busy plans were potential challenges. In conversation, Michael & I exchanged information for more thought and details to take back home. I arrived home to ‘spring the news’ on the busy multi-family household of members to ask for flexibility & participation in my car interest. I returned back to Port Orchard Ford with husband, family pet, & a very busy two-year old grandson. Michael & the Sales Team kept a ‘running’ toddler safe in play, with several grown man playing like little ‘big brothers’, along with other 2-year old with fun activities. It was a sales event weekend, so many other fun things were present to distract and retain the interest of a discovering & exploring child. I re-visited the car lot multiple times, with/without members of family, including my grandson & I making comparison checklists toward the best purchase decision. I call out & praise the Port Orchard Ford Sales & Parts Team Members for making every connection a positive & safe experience for every one of my family. I am sending this testament of gratitude and thanks to these individuals who “eased my way” in a positive car purchase a 2012 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback. Thank you to Michael Carlos, the car consultant who met me to learn my car buying needs, ushered me throughout the car-buying process, while being patient & professional in attitude with myself, and other family members. Michael you are a great salesman working to connect with people to serve their needs. You honored our needs and treated us all, as your only concern & that is a measure of true excellence from a customer’s perspective. Thank you Ward Eckert, Parts Consultant, for overseeing purchase & sales details. Your referral & recommendation for best parts replacement extended warranty program was greatly appreciated. Ward went above/beyond to help ‘sync’ blue tooth android phone to the ‘hands-free’ car phone function. Thank you Nathan Bennett & Gary Lowery, Sales Consultants, for intercepting football game plays to include a ‘running’ 2 year old, down the stretch of parked cars & the occasional ‘show room’ tours to the kids play corner & donut-eating choices. Thank you Val Cummings for your time, while sitting at your finance desk. I appreciated your explanations of the extended warranty program details & the ‘gap’ insurance protection plan. Your time management skills are remarkable. Especially, at the end of the buying experience-day as the last stop in the process. This is my third car purchase at Port Orchard Ford for a quality sale, and I would definitely endorse Port Orchard Ford to others. With Sincere Appreciation & Thanks, Gary E. Olson, Retired Husband and Patricia L. Olson, MSN RN Providence Health, Senior and Community Services Director of Quality for Skilled Nursing Services & Assisted Living Communities Manchester, WA Resident

On 10/20/17 their Internet sales person Tiffany sent an email quote containing a price on a few different F250/350 trucks they had in stock after an extensive phone call laying out my needs. When I called her that evening to arrange a sale she was leaving but after collecting my details told me a sales manager would return my call. They never did. The following day I called to arrange a test drive and purchase. Tiffany wasn’t working, and the salesperson I spoke with quoted me a different price ($4k price increase). After he gave me various excuses, I asked to speak with the Sales manager. Salesman took my particulars and said he’d have the manager call me. After waiting two hours, I called back and insisted to be put on hold until the sales manager could take my call. Eventually “Keith” took my call. He went to great detail to explain the complex pricing algorithms and models they use to adjust pricing etc etc. but refused to honor the price Tiffany quoted me, claiming “prices change all the time”. After I explained I had a quote (with no disclaimer regarding expiration of pricing), that I wanted to execute the sale the day prior, and no one called me back, he said he’d talk to the Sales Director and call me right back. Over an hour later, another sales person called, only to tell me the same switched price Keith gave me. I said this wasn’t acceptable and asked to speak with Keith. Salesman tried to “I’ll tell him to call you...” but insisted to hold until Keith took my call. Keith eventually picked up and continued to explain why they couldn’t sell it to me at that price or they would lose money, after acknowledging that was the price the previous day. He assured the me the general manager would contact me Monday. Having cash in hand, Monday was to late. While continuing my search hours later online, CarGurus had the exact same truck (stock number) listed on their website for the Bruce Titus Ford in Port Orchard, AT EXACTLY THE PRICE TIFFANY QUOTED ME! I called the number listed in the ad, got a salesperson who confirmed the price on CarGuru was indeed correct. So here’s the deal fellow car shopper. This dealership is practicing classic bait and switch as defined by the Federal Trade Commission. They are advertising a price that doesn’t give them a margin their comfortable with, but they want to draw the customer to their dealership, and they anticipate you’ll need financing or have a trade in that they can utilize to generate revenue on from you and improve those margins. A cash buyer like me with no trade in created a unusual challenge for them, and in this case, they chose to deny me the advertised and quoted price. You can believe on principle I’ll continue to pursue this elsewhere with the appropriate authorities. There are additional details regarding my interactions with the dealership that I’ve omitted for efficiency as they offer no substantive value to the spirit of this review. In the mean time, I located another dealer online (Harris Ford in Lynnwood) who while employing the same marketing tactic, was good enough to honor their very aggressive price. In return I did my best to facilitate the transaction to their best advantage. They were efficient, sensitive to my needs, and worked as a team to get me in and out with my fantastic new truck as quickly as possible. Dave, Manny, Memo, and Jen in financing were great to my Wife and I.

I told him that i lived about 1.5 hours away taking the ferry so it better be worth my time, well i headed that way and becuase of the traffic i didnt make it there and turned aroudn to head to bellingham i had a exam at school. So i finally have a day off work, i called said id be there n 1.5 hours ( i was only 30mins away(i didnt want them to start the car and warm it up-it was used)) so when i called i asked for ricki " hi i was wondering if u still have the ford egde. why yes we do i can see it from my desk right now, come on down :) " i got there 30mins later and i cant find it on the lot, he cant find it on the lot.. he comes back to me after talking to his manager and says " so i have good news!!! if u came here last week when u called it would have been here and it could have been yours, bad news is it went to auction 45mins ago" i then procceded to tell him i called 3mins ago and he told me he saw it... I was looking for a car for my son. I saw an excellent price online. I had enough sense to know that I do not qualify for every rebate that the online price took into consideration. I wanted to know the bottom line for me so I dropped in. I first asked to look at the car (2015 Fiesta) to verify it was the one I saw online. After that, it took Steve 5 minutes to come up with a price, all while I sat across from him. No checking with managers BS or anything like that! I am a known "Caraholic" and buy a new car or truck very often, this was the fastest no BS price I have ever gotten! I went through my car buying service (USAA) and realized that they were missing a $500 credit (vehicle in inventory for extended period). I called Steve and asked for the USAA price with the $500 incentive, he agreed immediately and I told him I would be in the next morning. When the contract was brought out, the price was LOWER than I expected... (I am an anal Caraholic and have all the taxes and licencing fees figured out beforehand) I did have to wait longer than average to see the "finance guy", but there was very little pressure for "Extras". Overall, a great buying experience. I am a "caraholic", my name is Don. I will be back...

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!Would not recommend to anyone unless you want to be treated like a Rotten Egg, left in a lunch pail for weeks, Seriously. We bought a 2014 Gr Cherokee from Titus in Olympia, BTW great experience there, and had some mats delivered to the Port Orchard store, as we live in Port Orchard. We called to see if the mats were in and the ill-mannered parts guy did in brief discourteous words tell my husband they were there. We had our friends wife pick them up and she was greeted with some kindness at the door and shown to the back where mr discourteous was. When she asked him about the mats, he pointed to the wall behind her at a box twice her size (cargo and floor mats are large and heavy) and ended his contact with her. She proceeded to pick up the box and open the door herself with no help from Mr Inconsiderate, the person that greeted her upon arrival seen her struggle and went out of his way to help her out. all the while mr no customer service sat there. I truly hope they know the impact this plays on future purchases with this company, parts and vehicles alike.

WARNING STAY AWAY :: This dealership is a total scam. I tried to buy a new car at full purchase price on their website from them and they did every scummy car sales trick in the book. Jon confirmed the price over the phone and said it was mine, and then when it came time to buy the car they said it was sold and try to sell me a different car that was more money. After explaining to them I wanted the original car they came up with excuses after excuses and stop returning phone calls. Several days later the car I wanted that was "sold" was still available on the internet and was offered to me when I inquired about it from a different email. So to sum it up 1. Poor Customer Service 2. Sales Rep ignore calls 3. Bait and Switch Policy seem to be standard 4. Management is worthless and supports sleezy sales techniques. The sale rep Jon Pohlman lies and tries to avoid anyone who asks questions. run away and buy your car somewhere else
